Why we built it
A year from now you’ll remember that she was curious. You won’t remember what about — unless somebody wrote it down.
Photo albums are full of what our children looked like and empty of what they were thinking. The questions are the part that changes fastest, and the part no camera catches.
So JourneyMind asks for very little: one line, when you have a second. It helps you keep what’s worth remembering, not everything.

This is the whole interaction: a line about what happened, a tag or two if you want them, and you’re done. Type it, or say it and let it transcribe. Nothing to fill in, nothing to score, no streak to keep up.
Notes are private to your family, and always yours to edit or delete.

Every few weeks the notes are gathered into a short read on how your child has been exploring, feeling, and getting on with people. It is drawn only from what you wrote — never from a milestone chart, never compared to another child.
Each line says how many notes it came from, keeps the sentence it came from underneath, and opens that note if you want to read it whole.
If there aren’t enough notes to say something honestly, the page says that instead of guessing.
